Ear Candle Therapy

ear candle therapySuzie has been trained in the application of Complete Health and Harmony candles in the safe, unique cut and tap method of ear candle therapy.

What can you expect in the session.
The client lays down on their side on a massage table in a comfortable, relaxed environment. The candle is lit and inserted into a holding cone and placed into the outer ear canal where a seal is formed. The Primary function of the candles is to stimulate healthy energy flow in the head neck and chest areas. When lit the candle warms the tissues of the ear, stimulates blood and lymph flow and softens any ear wax which may be present. It also creates a vacuum action which draws wax and debris up into the candle for disposal, kind of like a gentle form of syringing.
The candle and cone are removed every 5 minutes or so to “cut and tap” this ensures that that no residue enters the ear canal.

The art of using hollow tubes to clear the ear goes back many centuries. Races such as the Mayans used pottery cones in which herbs were placed and the Egyptians used similar pottery cones plus hollow reeds from the Nile. The Druids are recorded as using ear candles along with many parts of Europe, plus the Hopi North American Indians have passed down the art for many years.
There are many benefits that occur as a result of clearing the ears. Some of which are as follows:
